Blog #10 - Dropping balls?

Does it really matter if we drop the odd ball? Juggling skills appear to no longer be part of a circus act but an everyday skill we learn at an early age, much like I remember learning the 'Green Cross Code'. Juggling, agility doesn't always come naturally, but the good news is it can be learnt over time.

Have you heard of Action for Happiness, if not do check it out - at a time when we need easy short and simple support it is spot on. Action for happiness has for years encouraged us to notice when we are tired and take a break, and boy that was sound advice. Today not only did I support my client unravel a recruitment conundrum, coach an employee to reach out and obtain the support they urgently need, I was a mummy to my poorly son, a homeowner completing on a house sale and a wife who sort of prepared a nutritious dinner and I feel tired!

Acknowledging I was tired and taking just 10 minutes to myself made me realise that in the juggling mayhem, I needed to recharge my battery which in turn remind myself why I do what I do and how lucky I am to be able to be a mother, wife, businesswoman & homeowner. Being mindful of my here and now gave me the energy boost I needed to get through the latter part of this afternoon.

And then I came across this quote which I thought was great... If you truly need to drop a ball, pick one that is the least fragile!

If you feel you need some clarity of vision and coaching could help, give me a call, I'd love to hear from you. 07743 856083 - always happy to talk.
